What a hectic month of slacking, doing other work and rushing to catch up at the last minute. At least, that’s what it was in my case. Hopefully it was less crazy for you guys out there.
How did you do? Congratulations to all you NaNo winners! And well done to those who started but did not finish; there’s always next year! As for me, I managed to drag myself across the 50,000 mark on the 30th. It wasn’t quite as graceful as I’d have hoped, but I got there in the end!
It’s been a pretty relaxing nano-free weekend, and I’ve enjoyed mindlessly wasting time and not having to worry about meeting the daily minimum words, or more often than not, having to worry about how far behind I am, but now, it’s time to get back to work!
I think that after this month, we would probably still use some time to readjust to regular life, so there won’t be a writing competition this month. But! Come January, you guys had better be ready to write!
In the meantime, I think it’s about time I got back to work upgrading the current Gens, and working on a few new ones, don’t you?
