We’re closing in on the finishing line for this year’s NaNoWriMo. Only three more days remain for us to complete our work and validate it in order to be considered winners. If you’ve already passed 50,000 words and have validated your novel, then congratulations! Feel free to give yourself a pat on the back, slump into a comfy chair and rest your worn, cramped fingers, ready for next year.
If you’ve got your 50,000 words but haven’t validated yet, hurry! Don’t forget to do it!
If, like me, you’ve still got some words left to go, then let’s keep at it! We still have plenty of time to finish. Some may have only a few words left to do, and others may have several thousands left. I’m part of the latter group, but what can I say? I like to live life on the edge!
I’m determined to make it to the end this year after having to lay down my pen early last year due to unforeseen circumstances, but this year I intend to make up for that failure! That and I hope to make good use of the discounts being offered for winners and even participants of NaNoWriMo by the makers of Scrivener and Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12 in particular. These two programs will certainly help any writer get their words out of their heads and on screen or paper! If you’re a participant in NaNoWriMo, or even if you’re not, you should check these out.
Well, time to get back to work. 50,000 words, here I come!
