If you’re on schedule, keep going, you can do it. If you’re falling behind, c’mon; pick up the pace! It’s not too late! If you’ve already won, congratulations. Let’s see just how far you can go!
Wherever you are with your novel, if you need any help or inspiration, RanGen is here for you. Why not try taking or plot in a completely different direction by adding a new item to it from the Plot Device Gen, or moving the action to a new city using the City Gen. Shaking things up a bit can breathe life into a tired story, and make others more interesting or twisty. Or humorous depending on what you add.

Hey, look over there! An update!

Presenting a new generator as requested by madhair60, a frequent visitor; the Villainous Abode Gen! This Gen produces generic (and some distinctly not so generic) villainous characters and their habitats. I can guarantee that any game or story will instantly becomes 100 times more interesting with the inclusion of the likes of the Domain of the Scarlet Spider or the Tomb of the Wyvern Queen. Or the Tree of the Hateful Zombie. Especially that last one.

You may have noticed the inclusion of the new Names section. I have plenty of ideas for Name Generators, and hope to fill out that section real soon. You may also have noticed the Medicine Gen has been moved to that section, which is a much more fitting place for it.
Also, I have updated the Plot Device Gen, which should come in handy for any visiting WriMos.
